Neoromance ♥ Starlight Christmas 2010!

Neoromance ♥ Starlight Christmas is an annual Christmas event held by game company Koei; it is mainly targeted towards female audiences. So far, there are only 3 franchises under the Neoromance series; namely Corda, Haruka and Angelique. Each of these franchise has expanded and has many game sequels, spinoffs, TV animation adaptation, books, CDs, goods and much more.

Character designer for Angelique is Kairi Yura (illustrator for popular ongoing light novel series Saiunkoku Monogatari written by Sai Yukino) . Moreover, Tohko Mizuno for Harukanaru Toki no Naka de (serializing Kimi ni XOXO in Hakusensha’s LaLa) and Yuki Kure for Kin’iro no Corda (serializing manga adaptations of Corda in Hakusensha’s LaLa, LaLa DX and LaLa Special as well)

In addition, Koei has also launched a Neoromance Game Novel for mobile phones titled Love φ Summit. Voice actors from the series are new additions for this year’s event.

Back to Neoromance ♥ Starlight Christmas 2010, it’s set to be held for 2 days on December 4, 2010 ~ December 5, 2010 (Saturday and Sunday) at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. There will be two sessions for each day. The first session held during the day and the second held during the night. Please continue reading for more information.

The convention hall’s lobby would be opened at 11:00am, while the entrances are opened 30 minutes before showtime. The event’s first session begins at 1.30pm with the second beginning at 6:00pm.

3 types of entry tickets are sold for the event. Prices are inclusive of tax. Information as follows:

  • the SS seats – ¥7,800
  • the S seats – ¥5,800
  • the A seats – ¥3,800

The lobby would be opened at 11am, for those whom are attending during the day, doors are opened at 1pm with the actual event beginning a half hour later at 1.30pm. Those attending during the night, doors are opened at 5.30pm and actual event starting at 6pm.

  • the A seats – ¥3,800

Notes: Prices are tax included. Only the A seats are for general sale, the SS and S seats are sold by Gamecity. It’s exclusively for those who are in Gamecity’s Neoromance Fanclub only.

Special screening of ~secondo passo~!

Hey guys! I really don’t know where to start…

Firstly, on September 19th, 2009 (Saturday), there will be a special screening of ~secondo passo~ at Brillia SHORTSHORTS Theater located at Yokohama, Nishi-ku, Minatomirai 5-3-1, Firumi-2F to commemorate Koei’s Neoromance 15th Anniversary. The ticket to the event costs ¥1,200.

Please take note that the event will only be broadcasting episodes without the extra scenes from the DVD. 3 separate screening sessions will be held throughout the day, starting at 3p.m. for the first, 4.30p.m. for the second and the last being at 6p.m.

Tsun・Dere Award and Boku wa Tenshi Deatta Event Report!

Hey there! Here’s the announcement of the Tsun・Dere Award that was given out during the commemoration of the DVD, Boku wa Tenshi Deatta event.

The Tsun of the Year was awarded to Daisuke Kishio who voiced Azuma Yunoki while the Dere of the Year was awarded to Mamoru Miyano who voiced Aoi Kaji!

On the other hand, you can also view the Boku wa Tenshi Deatta live event report here. From the pictures, unbroadcasted scenes of the TV special (that was also included in both limited and normal pressing of the DVD release) was shown to the audience of the event. The characters who are nominated for the Tsun of the Year Award was Tsuchiura-kun, Tsukimori-kun and Yunoki-senpai while the nominations for the Dere of the Year Award were Shimizu-kun, Hihara-senpai and Kaji-kun.

Then, there was the Corda Quiz game that was divided into 2 teams, Team Etou and Team Kaji. The quiz asks all sorts of stuff like Who was Yunoki’s fiancee? as well as What was the name of the concert where Kahoko replace Ousaki to perform there?.

There was a lyrics recital of Etou-kun’s image song titled as MOVE. The song was released together with the other new character image songs as Kin’iro no Corda ~secondo passo~ Tears‘ love ballad compilation on August 12th, 2009.

After that, the classical mini-concert was held and the event ended. The live event report also contain comments from the emcee and both seiyuu(s) that attended the event.
