Hi again! Here’s the updates for the second volume release of Tears to Tiara!

The second volume of the DVD and Blu-ray will contain episodes 5, Londinium to 8, Rubrum. Like the first volume, there will also be a full-c0lour booklet. And this time, there will be a cast interview for Makoto Ishii(!!) and he will talk about his similarities and differences with Arthur! Series composition in-charge, Touko Machida will talk about characters(??) while director, Tomoki Kobayashi will talk about the truth about the Gael Tribe stew~

Image of the booklet’s contents can be seen here: http://t3blog.seesaa.net/article/122672645.html

The cute picture of Arthur being hold back by the girls, especially by Riannon and Llyr makes me wanna laugh my heart out! Riannon and Lyrl looks so cute~ Riannon looks like a younger sister hugging her brother to stop him from going somewhere(…) Ahh, I just can’t wait to watch the episode tomorrow!!

I noticed that CDJapan.co.jp has listed a new single by Aira Yuuki titled as weeping alone as the 2nd ending theme for the series, there is still no news confirming this. I’ve double-checked the official site and the staff blog but nothing yet.

Before I forget, there is a drama CD based on the anime and will be released by Bandai Visual on October 7th. The drama CD costs 3,000 yen (including taxes) and the catalogue number is LACA-5931.

The first original soundtrack for the anime series has also been released. Like the drama CD, it also costs 3,000 yen (including taxes) and was released on June 24th. The music for the series was done by Takayuki Hattori.

July 3, 2009

Hello! Mariko here, there’s something I need to address.

I’ve been very busy in real life, so I left all the reporting to Amaya. Though I’m curious, there have been more than 15,000 views in total since we first started out. Being honest, I’m not motivated at all to do anything.

First, why most of you don’t anyone leave “Thank you” messages, especially for the ~secondo passo~ wallpaper (or even anything we post up). Short comments are appreciated. You can say real life has been hard for me. I lack the drive or rather motivation to continue working for this blog. Everyone’s been downloading our translations; hardly either of you says something. I feel so unappreciated.

Both of us are doing this because: “I want international fans to know how the fans in Japan feel” – Amaya

As for me, I don’t want to keep other fans in the dark. Clearly, this sets the statement. I hope you can support us by sending your comments and donations. At least this way, I won’t starve to death.

More Tears!

June 29, 2009

Hi there! Here’s the updates since my last one about the event in Animate’s Nagoya where the episodes are broadcasting. A little spoiler before you read on, a side story of a certain something for this series is going to be released soon~ (Yeah!!, even though I never played before, not to mention not having any gaming console except for my dear PC)

As I said, here are the news of the figurines done by Good Smile Company. I really like their releases done by them and is my absolute favourite. The first announced figurine or Nendoroid is Riannon and Arawn-sama!

The images of the Nendoroid Riannon are very adorable! The likeness between the anime and the Nendoroid is just perfect and the poses given at the staff blog was enough for me to just squeal!~ But for Arawn-sama, the likeness can be compared to what CLAMP’s Seishirou for the CLAMP no Kiseki chess piece (= not that good).

Each Nendoroid costs 3,500 yen and will be released on September and October respectively. The figure will also have a stand for it and it is measured to be 100mm tall.

There are even more cute ones from here: http://ameblo.jp/gsc-mikatan/entry-10277959482.html for Riannon and here http://ameblo.jp/gsc-mikatan/entry-10286670321.html for Arawn-sama, whose blog belongs to Mika-tan, an employee of Good Smile Company. Mika-tan gave images of different poses and she even showed a pose of Riannon in a kitchen!

The Nendoroids are now available for pre-order. Pictures of Nendoroid Arawn can be seen here: http://t3blog.seesaa.net/article/122302175.html

Okay, the second volume release of the DVD and Blu-ray is coming out on July 15 (and a new volume every month on the same day). The second volume cover features Arthur and Morgan while the limited pressing is the same for the entire release for the series, the sticker poster now features Lylr (pronounced as Suiru)and Epona!

There are also pictures of the first volume DVD and Blu-ray release at the staff blog.

And finally, a gaiden of Tears to Tiara: Kakan no Daichi has been announced! The gaiden (or side story) will be released on September 17th and there will be 2 versions of it, the limited pressing and the normal version.

Although the limited pressing’s specifications has yet to be announced, the price for the limited pressing will be 8,379 yen (including taxes) while the normal version costs 6,825 yen (including taxes). The JAN code for the limited pressing is 4996802090980 while the normal version is 4996802090997.

The title for this release will be ティアーズ・トゥ・ティアラ 外伝-アヴァロンの謎- Tears to Tiara Gaiden -Mystery of Avalon-. How odd is it to not have Kakan no Daichi to it since it is the PlayStation 3 version that has the current character designs, story and everything.

This release will have the same platform as the original remake and it’s genre listed at the official site is Adventure Simulation RPG, making it the same as the previous one. There will be a new character for this release and no information has yet to be announced while the official site only showed ???  for the character.

Dengeki PlayStation, the magazine (as well as online) was the first to announce it and said that the gaiden will have new scenario as well as a new system which is called the Changeling System. I could not elaborate more here since I’m not familiar with the console. You can find the post here: http://dps.dengeki.com/2009/06/post_1018.html

The official website for the gaiden can be found here: http://aquaplus.jp/t3a

Here are all the pictures, click for a bigger version. All images are from the staff blog.

P.S: This entry’s title is by Mari-chan! Thanks, I couldn’t have thought an even better one!

Corda news summary!

June 27, 2009

Hi there! I have really been super-busy this time around and is collecting my report card on Saturday but I’ll try my best to complete this news summary~

First is that there is a lucky draw for the B2-sized poster featuring the cast in their performing outfits drawn by Maki Fujioka, the series’ animation character designer. The illustration is also used for the ~secondo passo~’s limited pressing DVD cover.

The lucky draw is only limited for those living in Japan, so if any fans are staying in Japan, you will only have to complete your email address, postal number(?), where you are living(?) and your name. There is an optional space where you can also comment on the TV special. The page for this lucky draw is here.

Second is about the release of the continuation of Sweet&Joy<#> (sharp), Kin’iro no Corda~secondo passo~ SWEET&JOY <♭> (flat). The continuation of the character feature CD was released on June 10th and it’s cover features Hihara-senpai, Yunoki-senpai, Shimizu-kun and Kaji-kun! (~~)

b300

Here’s the cover and click for a larger version.

The CD costs 3,000 yen including taxes while the catalogue number is KECH-1499. The limited pressing has a double cover(?) which is the same for the <#> release.

The CD drama has 4 arcs for each character, an extra parody mini-drama and a full chorus version of Hihara-senpai’s new song, if (!!). The parody mini-drama is this, 「天下無敵? 3B+(読み:サンビープラス)が斬ル!」 Tenka Muteki? 3B+ (read as San Bii Purasu) ga Zanru! (I’m not sure whether the romaji is right for the last word… >_<)

Everybody except for Kishou Taniyama voicing Tsukimori-kun and Kentarou Itou voicing Tsuchiura-kun is back for this drama. Satoshi Hino voicing Kiriya Etou and Akemi Satou voicing Fuyu’umi-chan will appear in this CD.

A love ballad compilation, Kin’iro no Corda ~secondo passo~ Tears will be released on August 12 and all the new character solo songs as well as ~secondo passo~’s insert song (as well as being Kaji-kun’s character solo), You’re in my heart will also be included in this compilation.

There is also a post talking about the <♭>’s recording session but that will be for later.

The compilation will have a bonus track and the summary of it is already up in the staff blog. The title for the post, 収録裏話 ラブバラード集に戦国コルダ!? Behind the Scenes of the Recording Discussion Love Ballad Compilation ni Sengoku Corda!?

And so, the ‘Story’ page of the official site has been renewed. There will be new scenes of the last episode of the spcial on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

To comemorate the TV special’s DVD release, a special event titled as 僕は天使に出会った Boku wa Tenshi ni Deatta which is English, means I’ve Met an Angel.

New characters, Aoi Kaji and Kiriya Etou’s seiyuu, Mamoru Miyano and Satoshi Hino will make an appearance in the event. The event has a talk show and a mini-concert. (Even so, Animate’s website states that the event only have a talk show and a mini-live instead of  a classical mini-concert and a talk show)

The event will be only held twice in the same day and only 100 participants for each round.

Besides that, Aoi Kaji’s viola performer, Yuuri Matsumoto and a pianist who performed Fuyu’umi-chan’s piano in the special episode in ~primo passo~ will be present at the event.

For the event’s details, the event will be held on August 1st in a place somewhere in Tokyo. To get tickets to the event, you will need to use a coupon in the limited pressing of ~secondo passo~’s DVD releasing on July 22nd and send it to 〒173-0021, Yayoi-cho 77-3, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo and addressed it to 株式会社アニメイト金色のコルダ~secondo passo~」発売記念イベント係.

The coupons must be sent it by July 24th, 2 days after the release of the DVD. Animate’s page for the event is here: http://www.animate.co.jp/event_info/event/event_e20090801.html

The first event will be scheduled to start at 2.00pm while the second at 5.00pm although the event opens its doors half and hour earlier before the event starts.

Remember that Soukyuu no Score ~The score in blue~ is also available in karaoke? See this here: http://6109.jp/corda02/?blog=6156 and the post shows Soukyuu no Score ~The score in blue~ and Crescendo available in karaoke (centres?).

Next is about Tears to Tiara’s figurine news~ as well as Eden.

P.S: I’m not sure whether I can continue reporting about this since my midterm results kinda suck (failed 3 subjects >< and got a low ranking in class) and my parents want me to concentrate on school(…)

One more Tears update!

June 14, 2009

Hi there! The staff blog has put up another promotional video (PV) for us and you can download it by clicking the ‘Download‘ button and right-click ‘規約に同意してファイルをダウンロードする‘ and click ‘Save target as‘ and you are downloading the video already! Beware though if your connection speed is lower since the file is 6.55MB, mine is already dial-up so it will take quite a while…

On another side, remember that there’s a screening in Nagoya Prefecture? There will again be a screening in the Nagoya branch of Animate. The event will be held at the store’s 2nd floor event space.

The screening will continue from the last event’s episode and will screen from the 5th episode. The 11th episode that is to be aired tonight will also be screened and is the climax of the ‘Lidia arc‘.

The screening is held today and the fifth episode will start screening at 1pm till the 8th episode that will be 2 hours long. From 3pm, the 9th episode will start screening and will last about 1 and a half hours.

For those who enter this event, you will get a announcement poster and a chance for a lucky draw to get the special limited Octavia bolster as a present!

P.S: I’ve watched the PV and it’s another DVD spot like Corda! There was a scene in the PV that the broadcast in Animax didn’t have, how odd is that?

Corda DVD spot up!!

June 11, 2009

Hi there! Kin’iro no Corda ~secondo passo~’s DVD spot is up! Go see it here. Click the 1M link and you will be able to watch the video!

Just another word, Blood: The Last Vampire came out today in Malaysia, have you guys watch it? I haven’t but I read it the newspaper that the music and stuff weren’t that good but the fighting sequences are great in showing the special effects that they used.

I hope I can watch it~

Hi again! More updates on Tears, Corda and Eden and I’m complaining (slightly) since all the series seemed to be slightly getting quiet then giving us (the fans) updates all at once.

But then fans, please rejoice in having these updates! :)

For Tears, the photos for the DVD and Blu-ray release has been released at the staff blog.

set01

The red-coloured one is for the Blu-ray while the blue-coloured one is for the DVD. The DVD and Blu-ray volumes are released every month starting from this month’s 17th.

The staff blog has also provided a photo of a (what seem to be) sketch of Lylr and Rathty.

stick2

For Corda, there is an interview between Mamoru Miyano who voiced Aoi Kaji and Reiko Takagi who voiced Kaho-chan. The photos provided by the staff blog is during their photoshoot.

This interview is in the August issue of Voice Newtype and is to be released on July 9th.

The staff blogger commented that there was something about Mamoru Miyano and Reiko Takagi – their height. The difference between Mamoru Miyano’s height and Reiko Takagi’s height is 40 centimetres!

The staff blogger also commented that since most of the guys in the Corda team is tall, Reiko-sama’s (yes, Reiko-sama XD) microphone during the recording of the anime and the drama CDs has to be altered to suit her height. The blogger also said that this also happened in the Seisou Gakuin Sai 2.

Ah, there were small comments of the photos by the blogger. For the first photo, the blogger said the appearance of the secret weapon(!). I can’t really understand the second one but the third one was saying that their pose was really cool. He said something about Reiko-sama eating bananas and wondered whether it tasted delicious.

Here are the pictures.

mamotaka_3

Okay, for Eden, there are more interviews of the cast (separately) in a few more magazines! For Animage, there is an interview of Akira Takizawa’s seiyuu, Ryouhei Kimura and for Newtype, the interview is for 2 directors, Kenji Kamiyama and Shouki Tachibana (sorry if the romaji is wrong, I’m not sure whether the romaji is correct, really sorry for my ignorance) for the July Noitamina Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 talk.

In PASH! and pick up, there is also interviews for Eden’s director, Kenji Kamiyama but for Pick Up, it is the director’s second serialization(?). For the Eden series, the series will be the cover for Animation Note No.14 and will have a special collection(?) for it.

The JUIZCALL password will also make an appearance here. The JUIZCALL password is for a game that is held in Japan and it seems like you can win a lot of prizes from it.

There are more than 18,000 participants in the game and is in it’s 9th round.

Newtype, Animage and PASH! will be released on June 10th (which is today) and for pick up, it will be released on June 18th while Animation Note No.14 will be released on June 28th.

Please go buy Voice Newtype to read the interview between Mamoru Miyano and Reiko Takagi and for Tears fans, please quickly pre-order your share of the DVD or Blu-ray!

Note: I read one of the news in the Newtype magazine website, it said that Evangelion’s Blu-ray sales has the highest sales in their first week (first week or something like that) in history, how cool is that? :D

That’s all for now~ (I just need to find a way to replace my broken speakers and mouse since I’m using MouseKeys D:)

I know this is late but lurking at Newtype’s website today, it has been finally been announced that there’s a continuation to the first Darker Than Black series!

The news was leaked out before last year, I was waiting for it to be official! Now it became true! xD

The official site has been renewed with the info along with main staff information. Details are not out yet.

I’m wondering whether or not Yoko Kanno will be returning for the series’ music composition. I’m sure looking forward to it… Hoping for another full-fledged series though!

Watch out for more!

Mari
